8 Februari 2012: Urban Beauty relocates to the centre of Delft
After months of renovating and hard work, the new location is finally ready. From now on, the treatments will be given there. The official opening still has to take place, but I will keep you posted on that. It all looks very nice I must say and I am now really located in the centre at Kruisstraat 33. That is the same street as Blokker, opposite to DynaByte. Please come by if you are around so you can have a look.
2 Juni 2010: Report of 29 mai, viva la donna day.
29 may we had the Viva la Donna day at Urban Beauty. A day where women that are touched by cancer are pampered with a free beauty treatment. It was our first viva la donna day and did not know what to expect.

Sunday 9th of may is coming close. That day we celebrate mother's day. And what could more delightful that to really pamper her. Or even better, to have her being pampered ! At Urban Beauty we have the perfect gift for her. A gift certificate for a relaxing treatment at Urban Beauty or a treatment that will make her feel special.
You can choose whether you would like a value mentioned on the certificate so she can have her own choice of treatment or even a nice beauty product. But I can also mention a specific treatment you would like to give to her. That way the price will not be mentioned. 1 May 2010: On 29 May it is Viva la Donna day at Urban Beauty.
On the 29th Of May I will be giving treatments free of charge to women that are touched by cancer. A moment for them to forget their illness and feel a woman again. To give them a time to relax and feel good about themselves. It is the main purpose of the Viva la Donna day, an initiative of the Viva la Donna foundation. Giving them a treatment will make them feel better about themselves and have a more positive attitude towards life. It has been proven that personal attention improves recovery. More information on the foundation can be found on the website of viva la donna.
From the 1st of may you can contact me to fix a treatment for yourself or for someone you think deserves such a moment of indulgence. A special woman that has been touched by cancer. Just send me a mail or call me to fix an appointment. Two companies have have been so kind to sponsor this event, being Nouvital from Rotterdam and Groenrijk from Rijswijk.

31 March 2010: Brazilian wax during your monthlies.
It often happens that I am asked whether a Brazilian Wax is possible during a menstruation. Appointments are rescheduled as a result of an earlier than expected period or a period that lasts longer. But should you avoid having a Brazilian then ?
A Brazilian wax during your monthlies are very well possible. However make sure you use a tampon instead of hygiene pads.

19 February 2010: English website translation is online.
Especially for all the foreign customers that seem to grow in numbers in recent time, I now have an English website. It can be easily accessed by clicking on the English flag just below the adress details in the upper right corner.
5 February 2010: PIN payments now possible.
Finally I have installed the equipment to accept PIN payments. After many request from customers I have found a good supplier. And I must say that in the short period it has been installed it has been used intensively.
28 January 2010: Temporary numbness.
Especially for sensitive people I now have a solution to overcome their waxing fears. At small additional cost you have the choice to have a special spray applied. This spray will make the skin less sensitive for the duration of the waxing treatment. It will also continue to work right after the waxing to diminish the unconfortable feeling. Which might be a perfect solution if you are a bit hesitant to have a Brazilian wax done.
28 January 2010: Urban Beauty now ANBOS member.
Since the start of this year, Urban Beauty is part of the Dutch Beautician Association ANBOS. It is to distinguish myself as a professional salon.

4 July 2009: Brazilian wax painfull ?
There is a lot of bad rumours on Brazilian wax and the associated pain. A very common question is if a Brazilian is very painfull. And to be frank about it, there are nicer things in life. However, with the whole treatment I can have you relaxed and make the whole experience as pleasant as possible.

Urban Beauty is actively supporting the initiative of Viva la Donna. Viva la Donna is a foundation that strives to give the women that are touched with cancer a personal care experience. To forget their illness and make their fight more bearable. On the 29th. of May Urban Beauty will offer its services for free for these brave women. 17 May 2009: New website is online
Today I have launched my new website. And I am pretty proud about it. Please have a look around and if you have some good ideas or want something add, just send me a message.
Although the first website was sufficient, I wanted something that represented more the Urban Beauty look. And also I wanted to add much more information. But I am sure this one will also be outdated pretty soon as we are growing fast.
